Wet leaves are a danger in the driveways especially to the elderly if not collected. Surely the once a month collection could/ should continue. Perhaps a reduction in rates should be in order for the reduction in services.

We need the green bins emptied the n autumn for leaves and acorns - as well as hedge cuttings/ and general garden stuff. Big gardens - Big council tax bills- and we need monthly collections please. We don’t want to drive it to Lamby way- that’s not eco- friendly. Thanks

I own a transit van as a family vehicle. As transits vans are considered to be ‘commercial’ vehicles, waste facilities refuse me entry. The green waste collections are my only way of disposing of garden waste.

Whilst I can absolutely understand why the decision has been made, the leaves haven't yet fallen, what are we supposed to do with them?? Once a month would be amazing even if just for November! Please.

Ridiculous to stop green waste collections before the leaves have fallen or any of the Autumn pruning has been carried out. MUCH TOO EARLY!

Absolutely reduculios to stop green bin collecting. I have large trees behind my house and have to clear them up at least 4 times taking me well into November. What am I supposed to do with my garden waste if there are no collections after October. Besides i get very ltle now for the exstiotionate council tax I pay. Absolute daylight robbery.

Now is the time when gardens need the summer foliage disposing of, this is a month too early to stop the collections.

Stopping collections this early will lead to people fly tipping!

Autumn going into winter is a time households will still have garden waste from leaf fall and winter trimming of trees and shrubs. A lot more dumping of such waste in the local environment as a result of this decision!

come on Council...you know it makes sense. Avoid fly-tipping

A vital service should at least be monthly

This is a terrible decision. If collections stop after October, we will be buried beneath rotting leaves.

Please continue to collect garden waste during the winter months

This is unfair. This will lead to fly tipping and I am disabled so unable to take to the tip.

Everything about this council is an utter disgrace. To blame covid is completely unacceptable and garden waste will end up in black bins

This is absolutely ridiculous, with the amount of leaves falling and those yet to fall, the road sweepers hardly coming around to keep the gutters clear, we are constantly filling our bin!!

As a Gardener I am aware that most properties are still waiting for leaves to fall to START autumn tidy! If no one is allowed in house then people are expected to be in gardens full of waste. Once a month is necessary.
