Our small family of 4 holds 5 degrees from UAB, and our youngest daughter is working on number degree number 6. We've paid comparable tuition to that which the students at UA and AU pay. UAB students deserve the same benefits for their tuition that those state colleges get, including extra curricular activates and athletics, especially opportunities for female athletes. Cutting the football program will not only hurt the morale of all the students and impact those students and the staff over their program, but in compliance with Title 9, they will have to cut an equal amount of lost scholarships for female athletes, probably completely destroying some programs.
