We cannot take UAB to the level administration claims they want it to go and shut down UAB Football. We are looking to provide undergraduates with the full college experience in a state that lives, breathes, eats and sleeps football. Not only will the immediate impact be negative for many, the long term impact will be even greater. Let's not sit back and watch dirty politics destroy our school!

The football program has been a success and is good for UAB (and Birmingham). Football program are an integral part of Auburn and UAT, and it should be so at UAB! I'm a graduate of UAB school of medicine 1985!

I plan on attending UAB's PA Program in 2015 and would hate to see something that many love dearly go away.

No university in the South deserves to have it's football program taken away, even if it's not in the SEC. Alabama is delusional if they think UAB will compete with te historical figure that Alabama Football is. We don't want to "replace" or even compete with Alabama football. We simply just want our own team to cheer for. Get over yourselves Bama. Go Blazers!

UAB has become much more of a campus-oriented university through sports, particularly football. Don't let our UAB Football team disappear due to pressure from outside. We like our UAB Football!
