This is a terrible mistake - UAB is the center of BHM and football helps to bring students to the school. As an alum I would love to see UAB continue the football program, Keep it and build a stadium!

I did not attend UAB. I graduated at the University of Alabama, however UAB is special to me because my niece attends UAB. I also have a dear friend that played football at UAB.

As a member of the Birmingham community and a transplant who has made it my home, I strongly feel the stability and strength of UAB athletics are vital for this city.

Go Blazers, I love my alma mater, which means nourishing mother (in my translation) since that is kind of what we are ALL looking for when we go off to college, it is not ok for any of her children to give up on their dreams, GO BLAZERS!!!!!!!!
