Without football, I would not have come to UAB. Football games are a huge part of campus life and a very hot topic this year. This university will not be the same without it.

I have 2 graduate degrees from UAB. I support football and all the athletic programs there. College is not all about academics, my college years included social activities and attending sporting events to enhance my total education.

I used to be a part of UAB before I transferred, and I am appalled that the board is showing such obvious favoritism to Crimson Tide Teams. UAB is the #1 ranked team in scrubs and they deserve to have a chance with an athletics program. Especially now that they are bowl eligible. They just needed a better coach and they finally have one.

please stop the tyranny of the University of Alabama and their bullying of UAB. This has gone on far too long. Let us keep our football team.
