This is disgusting. Time to do some system housecleaning, but not on the southside.

I am an alumnus and former marching band member of UAB, just graduating this past August. It saddens me that there might be some consideration of ending the football program. This would affect many lives of those in the band program with the directors of the band (possibly moving to different colleges because of this), band members loosing scholarships (possibly transferring to a different school that would offer a scholarship) and others that would not be able to perform at the football home games. Please to this into consideration on your decision on this matter.

Don't embarrass the alumni, and take away our team. Our tuition pays the bills. Unacceptable

This is a ploy by UA to stop football at UAB because they are scared they will have to fund the program.
Keep UAB football.
It is disgraceful to even have to discuss this.
