I cheered from 1993 to 1998 and worked as a student assistant in the football office in 1997-1998. This program has brought me many great memories and I hope that others get the same opportunity. This program has always had obstacles to overcome and does it best despite the wall that we are constantly up against. This program needs to continue for the athletes, the alumni and the students!

UAB deserves to have a football program. I watched them start it and I was a big supporter as a kid growing up. As an alum of South Alabama, I would love for UAB and USA to develop a friendly rivalry. I would love to have another reason to come home and enjoy a football game between these two schools. I talked to Coach Clark many times as the DC at USA and he is the right person to keep UAB moving in the right direction. Go Jags, Go Blazers!

UAB and Coach Bill Clark are putting us on the map. There are more than just 2 teams in Alabama with which to contend!
