I am currently the Spirit Coordinator at UAB where I am in charge of the Cheerleaders, Golden Girls and Blaze. Our main focus is game day! Cheering for UAB football is one of our favorite things to do. Losing football would also hurt recruiting for my squads which would hurt the school and the community they cheer for.

This program is much more than football. They are succeeding. Please allow them to grow and prosper. UA is so prosperous. UAB deserves to prosper and the students need student life.

Eliminating UAB football will cause much financial and enrollment harm in many departments for lack of scholarship opportunities and reason for marching band. (which itself offers over 200 scholarships annually)
