Keep Blazer football, let's build the program for the future. I'm a 3 time UAB grad and I hope that my children will attend UAB. I hope they have a football team to cheer for as I did. We can do this!

keep UAB football alive. Built a small, new stadium on campus. Keep the current coach and pay him more.

I am signing this petition because I would be saddened by the loss of my hometown blazers football team. I have been to several home games. And as big as a fan of the crimson tide I have never been to a game there. That's how much I love to suppose my home team the blazers.

I was at a game this weekend at Alabama State in their new stadium, and I couldn't help but wonder why UAB can't have a similar stadium o their campus. UAB has more students than ASU. UAB has more alumni than ASU. UAB is in a larger city than ASU. Put a modern stadium with 26,000 seats on campus and watch the game attendance rise dramatically.

As an alumnus of UAB, I strongly urge you to reconsider the dismissal of UAB football, for both the university and the city of Birmingham.
