As a former NCAA student athlete (UNM Lobos Football) I know full well of the importance sports played in my life. I was afforded the chance to go to college, earn a degree, and it help to shape some of the most critical decisions in my life including on aspects related to things such as my faith, core & family values, and career goals. Being a student athlete help me become the person I am today, and some of my most cherished and impactful moments came during that time. I stand with Coach Bill Clark, and my good friend Coach Zac Woodfin in support of not only keeping UAB football but in making it one of the premiere student athletic programs in the country. Save a proud program from termination. Alabama's board should be ashamed of allowing personal grudges determine the fate of an entire fan base. Liberate UAB from Tuscaloosa's vice grip.

Our son is so ready to be on the field with the Blazers as a special team player in 2015. Coach Clark and his staff have turned this team around and they are moving forward. We are confident that the Blazers will be a winning team under Clark's leadership and that the UAB campus and the city of Birmingham will reap great rewards if the Blazers are supported and continue.

Coach Clark & his staff are doing an excellent job of turning this program around. How could you even consider dropping what is obviously a good thing.

i grew up in Birmingham. I attended UAB. Please keep the football program. One of my friend's son is going to play there next year. I plan on coming home to see him play. It is good for UAB and Birmingham.

Wrong decision on so many levels.
Please do not drop your football program.
God help us!
