this is ridiculous why would the football team be discontinued? We need this, the school needs this. And parking. This isn't just about the money!

I personally am an Alabama State University alumnus, but I'm also Metro Birmingham native. I attended and supported UAB athletics since it began. I feel that it is necessary not only for community, but also for the students and the school as a whole.

If area businesses and government want to financially support the program, why would the university even consider dropping football??? Especially since we finally have a great coach who cares!!

UAB has faced the same challenges that other mid-majors are dealing with, with the exception of being under a governing body with little representation.

Why not build a stadium and give UAB a chance. Legion Field has served its purpose.

Good luck Blazers. Hard to believe UAT is so concerned with UAB and UAH succeeding. You would think they would try to build one of the biggest/best school systems in the nation between the three schools since they already believe they have the best school/football team. UAB could be the dominating basketball school, UAH=Hockey, and the UA system could rule the world! Nope, guess not.
