Unlike most people we know, who are usually somewhere around our own age, there is a group of individuals like my 15 year old son here, who have spent their entire life going to football games of UAB. He has been to Turner Field (Atlanta), Wrigley Field (Chicago), Coors Field (Denver) and Miller Park (Milwaukee). But he has never been to a football game in Auburn or Tuscaloosa, only Legion Field. He has been completely faithful to the Blazers while Blazer administration has begged for attendance and a faithful following of support. And now, at what may be the most important time for faithful support and attendance, two of the most important administrators for UAB athletics, the President and the Athletic Director are no where to be found. Grown men that should be ashamed of themselves. Brett Walton was soaking it in after the game, realizing his next college game may not involve the UAB BLAZERS.

This is the start of Bill Clark's UAB football team, there is no telling what we could do next year. Give us the time to build a crowd now with our winning team

UAB needs a football team just like the University of Alabama does. Why do we have to be the "red headed stepchild?"

We should be discussing how we can invest in the future of this program.
