A sustainable enterprise, or a green enterprise, is an enterprise that aims to achieve the triple bottom line, having a minimal negative effect or possibly a positive impact on the global or local climate, culture, society, or economy. They cluster into various categories and the whole is often referred to as "green capitalism." Sustainable companies also have progressive policies on environmental and human rights. In general, if it meets the following four requirements, business is defined as green.
