In addition to the above points, I feel it was irresponsible of the board and/or an oversight that was not considered to approve the hiring of many pool staff members who now do not have a job. Not only are most other pool related jobs already taken but many of these jobs build a resume for these young individuals.

I am a lifeguard and feel comfortable working at the pool this summer

As a hired guard I feel comfortable working and breaking social distancing to train
