I have been spending my nights reviewing the heartbreaking stories you are sharing about the wildlife we are losing. These accounts confirm that we are fighting for a soul of this land that cannot be replaced once it is gone. I am currently preparing a formal packet to present these concerns directly to the authorities in Lusaka.

Seeing this kind of movement confirms that so many of you feel the same ache I do when thinking about these lions. This momentum gives me hope that we can finally protect the wildlife that makes our country so special.

This is a good initiative. . We must take time to think about what we want our legacy to include. everyone needs toplay a part to ensure our wildlife is protected. hunting for sport is selfish and cruel and is different from hunting for food..
Dear President. Hear us on this one. No amount of money can ever replace what God has given us.
Once dead they are gone for ever for everyone, the revenue will be eaten by the Lusaka fat cats and we will all be responsible for the loss of lions.
Zambia has or intends to issue permits to hunt Lions And other big cats. This could result in lack of tourists who may boycott Zambia altogether
Issue one license to kill a male lion and you indirectly kill all the cubs in his pride along with any female lion that tries to protect her young. Do we really want to live i a world without big cats? Stop killing lions.
Ban trophy hunting
Leave the animals alone, we are ambushing their land day by day and killing them for fun? what kind of a shi* trophy is that
