The dunes need to be restored. They are part of our heritage and essential to wildlife.

Obviously the work needs doing but where will the money come from?

We don't come here anymore because of the glass and debris my children nearly hurt themselves on. It could be beautiful but it's gone to rack and ruin. A whole area where I live is now a no go zone. Something has to be done otherwise redcar will be another town gone and forgotten.

About time

People do their best to clean up, but its a hazardous job and need professionals to clean it up so that people can enjoy it, apart from the legalities if anyone was seriously hurt there. It really needs doing sooner rather than later.

Its a daanger to children and adults who enjoy walks along there. For the safety of people in Redcar, it should be cleaned up.

Could be a great asset to Redcar if managed in the right way

We need to look after our coastline - it's a valuable asset. Also, people who litter the beach and roads should be fined. It's endemic. The Council need to get their act together and north easterners need to take pride in their patch of earth. To disrespect the environment is to disrespect oneself.
