Forcing males upon women and girls is regressive and dangerous. Equality must be of opportunity to live free from fear

Indeed the LGB Alliance which formed 5 weeks ago is set up to do just that work.https://www.facebook.com/LGBAllianceUK/

Women need to take a stand on this issue and assert their sex based rights. Biological sex is immutable.

Have mentioned this petition in this article about the importance of sex-based rights. https://morningstaronline.co.uk/article/f/women-are-rising-and-will-not-be-silenced

What the last 50 years has shown us is that we can be the women we want to be and the men we want to be. So many prejudies have gone and we are free to choose how we dress, how we act and where we work. Trans ideology is pushing us back into the past when the future looked so bright. I am a woman. You will not add a prefix to me and define me.

This petition is being deboosted by Twitter. Why does Twitter seem determined to stop women talking about their sex based rights? It's happening to so many women!

This is a very important petition. It calls for the essential protection of women's sex-based rights and the essential safeguarding of children. Those advocating gender extremism also have no mandate to speak for the whole trans community, let alone the whole LGB community, and many trans people share the concerns expressed in the text of this petition and do not want to be associated with the demands of gender extremists who claim to speak for their community. It is also essential that the right to lawful freedom of speech and assembly are protected against the aggressive bullying onslaught by gender extremists, whose appalling behaviour has intimidated many people into silence. The way that gender extremism has been tagged on to the campaign for lesbian, gay and bisexual rights is also a matter of very serious concern. Gender Identity is not sexual orientation, and in any case the LGB community should be distancing itself from an extremist ideology that harms women, children and the reputation of the LGB movement. For too long, the Conservative Party has allowed Stonewall to call the shots and has been far too eager to take the line of least resistance in order to avoid accusations of prejudice and bigotry. This really must stop, and the Party hierarchy must take a step back and recommit to a strategy of supporting sensible LGB equality that does not include indefensible ideology that harms women, children, and the reputation of non-extemist, mainstream LGB and trans people.

I am not a Conservative party member but an Independent Councillor. I am however extremely grateful for and encouraged by many of the articles, subjects and writers found in The Conservative Woman. Thank you for taking a stand on this issue.

The attack from the trans lobby on female rights is unprecedented modern times. I believe everyone should have the right to dress how they wish, and believe whatever ideology they want, without discrimination in employment, housing etc. However, I believe no one should be permitted to legally change sex, as it severely negatively impacts the rights of females, not to mention it is not possible to change your biological sex in reality. Allowing people to change their sex legally has led to female’s rights being eroded, children thinking they change sex, and has had a chilling effect on free speech for everyone. Many Conservative MP’s at the time the 2004 Gender Recognition Act was debated in parliament, predicted some of these problems would occur, now that they have been proven right I believe it is time to repeal this damaging and reality defying Act. I have never voted for the Conservatives (I am much more near Labour on economic issues), though I would vote Conservative in a heart-beat if they ever pledged to repeal the 2004 Gender Recognition Act. As it is I will spoil my vote as I feel no party represents my rights as an adult human female.
