lets name it after someone that deserves it and there is no one that deserves it more than Connie Lawrence after all the help she gave to the people of Owego.

A very sweet lady that I knew only for 4th grade when I was at Talcott Street. She was so polite even though I was in detention.

A fitting tribute for a wonderful human and educator. She had a great effect on my life - pushing a less-than-motivated student, lacking confidence into the 'student of the year' for our 6th Grade Class and MC at the 6th grade Graduation. I am sure she had a great role in what I have become today.

She was the best teacher I ever had. A kind and wonderful person. Who not only cared about her students but cared about people in general. She went out of her way to say hello. A lovely woman and a lovely person. Who had a kind heart and soul.

I loved the local stories that Mrs.. Lawrence use to tell us in class. I wish those wonderful stories were written down! I would like to share them with my children!
