Bad move by the city, we need a little green space for the kids and dogs to run.

I was shocked to find out how far along this proposal was when we found out about it by accident.

2030 Ninth Ave. As a parent and Connaught Heights resident, I am concerned about this specific location for the following reasons (especially since the affected neighbourhoods were NOT consulted): loss of valuable community green space where kids play cautious of an increased # of residents in a single/multiple family household increased traffic congestion on Twenty-First St and London St, and safety of students, families, and residents travelling to/from Connaught Heights Elementary school

I am open to the site being used for a community purpose, such as a small rec center, pool, or meeting hall with maybe a local grocery or coffee shop incorporated. Another possible use I would like to see would be 6-8 townhomes like ones on Ash and 9th or ones near Taylor Park in Burnaby. 24 units is too many for the site and increased traffic, parking and noise issues would not work well for homeowners and families nearby. This is a quiet family neighbourhood with very little traffic, and recent access and egress changes such as concrete bollard at the end of London onto 20th, and no access into the community except on 8th, have made it hard enough to get into and out of our neighbourhood by car. So adding 24 units with corresponding cars jostling to get into and out of the neighbourhood in already reduced access and egress points is going to disrupt the calm community atmosphere. Please consider density by adding housing near the 22nd street skytrain instead, with perhaps a small retail center on ground level and stories of apartments above.

2213 Ninth Ave It is nice that someone has taken initiative to convey the concerns with this development. For years people have been close knit in this community. I think it is unfair to put a structure in middle of a independent residential area without discussing and looking at the impact to home owners who have been paying taxes for years.

Not happy with this idea of destroying the beauty of peaceful environment of Connaught Heights by building high density residence.

I do not support this proposed development which will significantly impact the density, shape and sense of the neighbourhood. I support green and open space which is close to nonexistent in the neighbourhood. The city's lack of transparency and openness in the project’s process to date is unacceptable.

2121 London Street. Connaught Heights is a neighbourhood of single family dwellings, the site identified looks like the equivalent of two standard lots. Since this will likely go ahead, I would hope to see no more than 8 or 10 units in that very small site. It is absolutely going to create extra traffic, parking problems etc. Sadly the City was not transparent about this project, as someone posted earlier, a Development sign is all it would have taken if the City truly wanted transparency.

I live on 2135 Ninth avenue in the neighborhood since 1993, This addition to our neighborhood without asking all the residents is a breach and it is going to effect our daily life including the value of our properties. We don’t want this building in our neighborhood. This is a peaceful and quite area and that’s the way we want it. Thanks
