This petition is for the purpose of limiting the terms of elected U.S. congressional officials. Specifically, the term of an elected U.S. Congressmen shall be limited to no more than six (6) consecutive or non-consecutive terms or a maximum total of twelve (12) years. The term of U.S. Senators shall be limited to no more than two (2) consecutive or non-consecutive terms or a maximum total of twelve years. In no case can an any individual serve more than a total of twelve (12) consecutive or non-consecutive years in the U.S. Congress.
