Congress should not be able to do anything that I can't do they should not have special rights privileges or stay in the chat forever should all be equal maybe we would have our money to retire then

The American people have been ripped off enough from their SS benefits they have paid into all of their working yr.'s. In the interim, congress, a paid JOB, every 2 yrs. How many jobs can a person vote for a raise? How can they cont. to use all of the benefits after they step down? This is not constitutional in any way from the original SS bill. It was meant to supplement the American worker when retired. It was NOT to be touched under any circumstances. Yet congress managed to change that to their benefit. How many raises for congress came out of this SS fund. We the people pay twice and end up with nothing! THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED, YESTERDAY! Congress should have to participate as other Americans in health insurance as well. No gov. benefits just like any other worker! Half the time Congress doesn't show up to work to begin with. Compare their perks with the public worker. Since when did a two yr. job turn into a career??? I love to have that job. Just like moving back in with Dad and Mom! Only you get to make the rules. ENOUGH is ENOUGH! Talk about putting your hand in the cookie jar. This needs to go back to it's original draft! As one of," We the people" we have spoken our concerns. Now fix it!

This is LONG overdue and needs to be put in place IMMEDIATELY; there are far too many making careers of bossing Americans where THEY want to go; & too few looking out for the best for AMERICA!

What I see missing is their insider trading protection that so many get rich practicing; and that needs to go too. I'd RATHER see their salaries based on either a vote of their particular constituents; or the mean salary of their constituents; but I can live with this proposition. The insider trading protection has to go, though. American citizens do it, they go to JAIL; so should members of Congress.
