I cannot collect my deceased spouses SS because I am a retired fed employee and either can he because of his early demise (59 years old). So who get his money? Law passed in 1985 should be CHANGED!

All good ideas, but will be ignored unless you can get 4-5 million signatures. Why not get a million or two people to camp out in front of congress until they act on this proposal.

We need to push for a new interpretation of the speech and debate clause,l Article 1, section 6 of the constitution. Our founding fathers I don't believe would have said that this exempted suing members of Congress "They shall in all cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of theira respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other place."
I think the Afghanistan version of the Pentagon papers, and this petition makes this a timely challenge.
