Madam, 

We, the  undersigned are very much concerned about some press reports telling that, Educational Ministry is not taken up by the Congress in the newly formed UDF Government in Kerala. 

Last year, KPCC has taken the initiative to appoint a committee comprising of academicians and educational experts for formulating a new educational policy/framework for implementing in the state when UDF comes to power. Based on the recommendations of this committee, KPCC has decided to bring dramatic changes to save the education system that has been disintegrated and deformed by the education policies of the LDF government. Also, RTE, a landmark in the context of Education in India, has to be implemented in the state in its right spirit. 

Starting from the Primary Schools, to the different sectors of higher education, a drastic change in the current system has to be coupled with sensible policies to ensure the progress of Kerala. 

So the Congress Party, with whom the people of Kerala has entrusted to lead the new government, has the moral, social and political responsibility to take up the educational ministry and solve the issues in the sector, and alleviate the concerns and worries in the minds of the people of Kerala, about the education of the future generations.
