Not having it is derogatory to the lower intellectuals of society. While they might be not as intelligent as the majority of liberal elitists that use facebook, they still require a simple image that represents them and their feelings.
If facebook ignores the requests of the people, they can easily be associated with social Darwinism. Also Communism.

We need this! Everyone confuses me when I use :s and they ask if I am typing a colon and an s. It makes no sense.
