This petition wishes to seek support from the public and students of SMF to open an investigation against Catherine Goh. We have evidences to prove what we say.
We refer to the lecturer, Catherine Goh. She taught Strategic Management for Trimester 2, 2012 and International Management Trimester 3, 2012.
We have repeatedly seeked assistance on our assignments projects in which she has refused to help the students, referring us to LMS. She will be the one grading the projects and hence she should also have set her standards and guidelines at the beginning to prevent confusion.
There were no constructive comments/feedback to our projects and simply a scribbled mark. We believe that the marking guide was not used to grade the projects. When she was asked to justify the marks, she required our projects again and took 2-3 days to reply us. Prior to that, she mentioned that all these are stored digitally.
There were discrepancy in the marks due to peer evaluation. However, peer evaluation forms were not submitted in the first place. We are not sure how she could imagine what the group members rated each other. When asked for evidences, she was unable to produce and even asked students to re-submit.
We feel that both her integrity and competency is questionable. We are both customers and students of SMF and we deserve quality lecturers and education. We not only want a re-grading of our project(s) but we will want CPE to also conduct an investigation on the said lecturer.

How did she come up with those peer eval marks if we never even submitted the forms? The lack of evidence is just ridiculous.
I had her for strategic management. worst experience ever. she just hides behind the LMS and gives zero feedback on major projects.
Finally someone doing something about this. Her grading makes absolutely no sense and she is never available when we actually need clarification.
total nightmare. she refused to help us even when we were confused about the rubric. how can you grade someone when you wont even explain what you want?
she needs to go. pay good tuition money just to be ignored and marked unfairly. smf should have standards for their staff.
