I am a 15-year-old student of Lochside Academy. This move has been a massive stress for my family and myself after an already upsetting start to the year with the death of a family member. Repairs need to be considered and amends made.

I strongly agree with the contents of this petition. I bought my house in good faith from West Lothian Council. A house that I thought met British Building standards with safe materials. I’m now informed that the Council were aware of the use of this cheap concrete with a roof expected to last for 30 years. To be followed with a massive cost to then replace. Would I have bought this property had I known this? Absolutely not!!!

I was sold my council house by West Lothian Council in 2003 when they knew that the RAAC it contained was already past its lifespan, that it turns out they knew about in the 1990's

The council should be held accountable for all involed also surveyors as they supposedly surveyed the properties that were sold to the public

Please give homeowners financial assistance. My mum is the homeowner. She is 90, housebound and has Parkinsons Disease. This will have a profound and detrimental affect on her already poor health.

The council allowed these materials to be used and should now take accountability and support the home owners.

Shame on West Lothian Council for leaving home owners in this RACC mess that they created and knowingly sold on Council properties to unsuspecting tenants. We bought our house in good faith thinking that it was sound and weatherproof, little did we know. Little Boghead RACC resident Bathgate.

This is an absolute disgrace. The council must be investigated for their lack of competence. They are destroying a community. My mother has lived in her house for fifty years as it was previously my grandmothers house. She has had the same neighbours for many of these years. Being forced to move into a smaller less suitable house is having a significant impact on her and her partners wellbeing.
