Not just for Aberdeen but for all homeowners affected, for me in particular, West Lothian. WLC is turning its back on all homeowners, many who are old and frail.

The Government needs to take accountability for building unsafe properties and pay up regardless of private or other home ownership.

I would like the Aberdeen Council to help and support all the residents and stop the insurance companies to stop them cancelling there policies it's not the residents fault, the housing association and they should of checked this long ago .

It is outrageous that Aberdeen City Council is not taking responsibility for the homes they sold to private individuals without disclosing the extent of RAAC in the property construction. At the very least they should be paying for inspection bills and the cost of repair.

Worth investigating possibility of collective class action (group litigation) against Aberdeen Council. As this is a UK-wide scandal some law firm may be willing to pursue it on a no-win, no-fee basis.

A council making fraudulent sales! Those responsible should be prosecuted.

Our home has been highlighted as having RACC in roofing area too. West Lothian Council informed all home owners of the presence of RACC in our homes in February 2024. They are washing their hands of us and leaving all home owners in the affected area high and dry. Where are we, myself and husband, who are pensioners supposed to get the funds for a replacement roof to the home we bought in good faith from West Lothian Council all those years ago? All RACC affected home owners should have funding from government to rectify the shoddy substandard houses that were purchased from said government.

Something must be done to reassure homeowners that councils will take responsibility for selling on these houses with RAAC in the first place.

The sooner the failing Council pull their fingers out and resolve this issue the better for Hannah and other residents!
