I do not support “Beach nourishment” for anything other than saving or sustaining wildlife sanctuaries. Tax payers dollars should not be spent to replenish sand for private property.

Beach nourishment is not needed as an emergency measure, all the homes there are behind the dunes.

Occupancy Taxes should be used to fund care of beach land and properties, which have no benefit to the mainland homeowners, many of whom are retirees or low income. The oceanfront home owners should be responsible for property risk especially when they are used as a business/rental instead of solely a place to live for their families.
Responsibly planned management! That is the key.
