CONCERNED DECPPE NAMCOL GRADUATES ABOUT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INFORMAL HUMAN RESOURCE CIRCULAR 3 OF 2024

The main is we want Ministry of Education to think about the future of the students that did the Diploma in Early Childhood and pre primary education at Namcol we can't do three years for nothing please ensure equal opportunity when it comes to employment we the students of namcol feel left out. We were supposed to be notified as early not until we studied all those years is when you change your things please.

The circular for 2024 affected us Namcol DECPPE graduates physically and emotionally

The ministry of education should retain 2019 circular, Decppe graduates must given a chance to teach pre grade 0-3

Namcol has placed us at a disadvantage because of the unknown futures of DECPPE graduates. With the MOEAC stating that our qualifications are insufficient to be qble to fill openings in grades 1 to 3 is disappointing and unfair. We are more then qualified to teach these grades if you look at our course content and compare it to other institutions. The only problem I believe is the wording of our diploma. We are qualified to teach Junior Primary grades when you have a look at the materials we studied.

DCEPPE must be renamed

Anything is possible, be informed that there is no vacant for early childhood and Pre - Primary in Namibia, rectify your qualification to the phase that go in hand with the current curriculum. Pre Primary and Grade 1 - 3 that is Junior primary phase.

A concerned student

At least they must change the course name from pre primary to junior and consider us please.

Namcol should do something for us who studied DECPPE because its not our battle let them fight it for us or refund our money since we studied for something which is not recognized by the ministry of education

We DECPPE graduates are saddened ny this informal Hr circular 3 of 2024 while this issue was resolved mid 2024 when the suspension of circular 2019 was withdrawn. We are not with this informal circular being implemented already in Ohangwena region . Does that mean now even the DECPPE employed graduates can not apply for promotional posts as Head of Departments at Junior primary phase? The ministry should give us clarity and consider this as a damage to many.

HR should treat all teachers from different institutions the same

This course is level 7 and all who go through this are professionally baptized.

We are not happy with that pre-primary report while we studied for the grade 1 to grade 3 report something should be done
