The RAP is a tremendous means to independence allowing fuller participation in work and social activities for those unable to drive due to disabilities.

This program is vital for countless lake county families and should be funded in perpetuity.

My son uses the RAP system to travel to and from work, doctors appointments, therapy sessions, special Olympics programs, and to social events. It has helped his overall mental and physical wellbeing tremendously. He used to be very anxious about the PACE bus reliability. Unfortunately, the RAP system does not allow rides throughout Lake County. To is this is discrimination towards individuals who work, live or would like to visit specific areas in Lake County. I ask that you expand the service to include all zip codes within Lake Counry. .

Accessible transportation is crucial for everyone. The TAP/RAP programs have filled a need for individuals with disabilities that standard mass transit cannot. The freedom to live a life without having to plan around fixed, mass transit routes is essential. This is especially important for individuals with disabilities who have limitations in abilities to navigate transit routes or live in suburban communities where they are severely limited or non-existent. The paratransit system without TAP/RAP is broken and unacceptable. Even when it's working correctly, rides are still difficult to schedule and limit accessibility. Maintaining TAP/RAP at its current levels is absolutely necessary to allow people to live lives as independently as possible. The programs have shown to be cost effective and wildly successful. Cutting the funding would be devastating and should not be done.

This service provides access to transportation for many people who need it and cutting it is discriminatory in nature

Cuts in this budget would be absolutely detrimental and debilitating to the disability community. It takes away freedoms all people should have access to.

I go to work everyday and the tap service has helped me keep my job. I use tap to get to work and get home from work. 30 rides is not enough to cover my rides to work in a month. I use tap because the pace bus almost made me lose my job coming late everyday. Even when I book 2 hours out they still came late and made me late for work everyday. I almost lost my job until I started using tap. Please dont decrease it this much.

I understand the need for cutbacks, but this is too drastic.
