Cities cannot truly thrive without sustainable public transportation for ALL. As someone working in the field or urban planning and urbanization, I strongly urge you to reconsider this decision. With this going into effect, many people will lose access to necessary transport. Not only will people with disabilities suffer from this change, those without disabilities will suffer the economic impacts as well. Please, do not make transportation less accessible than it already is.

Do not cut this program. It is critical for many local residents.

This will be detrimental for us who rely on these services, especially for those needing frequent medical support (such as dialysis and cancer patients), to go to work and regular life needs. Reconsider this action-we are already losing so much.

I can understand the raise in the fares but not the severe limitation of the rides. 30 rides a month is not sufficient. Please reconsider this change. Pamela Brown

TAP is a vital resource to feel empowered living amongst a dominant able-bodied population.

Please find a way not to reduce the number of rides. You will be hurting lots of people who depends on the program.

Please don't cut the funding for this program. It is so badly needed for disabled people like me who find it very difficult to get around otherwise.

Cutting ride availability to 30 rides per month is an outrageous attempt so save money by deeply hurting the most vulnerable members of our community. These cuts will cause undo hardship to those with disabilities and limit their ability to live a full life. Their ability to access healthcare will also be unaccceptably limited because they won’t be able to get to and from appointments and will find t themselves stranded. It will also increase the stress on caregivers who will have to pick up the slack in transportation. These drastic cuts demonstrate the moral degradation of the community at large. You should be ashamed.

This is completely unacceptable. Imagine passing a law that says you could only drive your car once a day and only in one direction. No driving to and from work, school, the store, the doctor when you’re sick. Pick one and only one ride per day and that’s it. You have to walk home no matter where you went. And what if you need to go to work and the dentist in the same day? Well, you’re just out of luck. Our society simply isn’t set up for that. It wouldn’t work for non-disabled people, let alone disabled people. Yet, that’s what you’re telling disabled people to do. (TELLING, not even the courtesy of asking, but don’t get me started on that.) Please, please, please rethink this decision. Show a little compassion, or even just use a teensy bit of logic.

Without transportation from work I could be left in an awful position of losing the job I moved hours away from everything and everyone I've known for the opportunity to get.

My son needs this service to get to AND from work. Without it, he will lose his part time job that gives him some independence.

The proposed cuts are extreme and it does not make sense to limit RAP rides to 30 a month when it must cost PACE/RTA more to staff a driver, pay for a bus, pay for gas and insurance than to subsidize an Uber ride. If they must raising the RAP fare to 3.25 to be the same as paratransit is acceptable. But the cuts to the number of rides is not realistic or economical. Perhaps PACE/RTA should cap the total mo they subsidy but not the number of rides and/or allow higher numbers of cheaper wait&save and Share rides versus the more expensive Uber options where the number of rides could be lower. Regardless the RTA needs to fund a better balance to account for their budget shortfalls.

I' have a physical disability using a motorized wheelchair receiving SSI and Social Security Retirement living below federal poverty level. I can't afford the $3.25 increase especially decreasing the monthly rides going to medical appointments, pharmacy, dental care, grocery shopping and occasional leisure time going to a movie
