Please don't take away this much needed option for adults with disabilities. You'd be taking away their means of transportation to work which is so important for everyone and especially for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Please don’t limit the number of rides. It is imperative the disabled adults be able to get to and from work and doctor appointments

Please reconsider this decision. It helps so many people with disabilities get around and be independent including my friend Jared who uses the service so he can have a job!

it's sad not to care about poor people people with disabilities and the elderly one single ride , figure out how you get back home on your own, really seriously who does not fear GOD!! GOD is watching rich people who don't care the under privileged will be judged by GOD!!this still a nation. Under him. So if you need to go to the Doctor. Need to go shopping. Need to go pick your medication up all in the same day. You, won't be able to do it now. You gotta choose between between these things. Which one what should I do? JESUS CHRIST IS LORD.

I know people that would be personally affected by this and you do not realize the hardship you are creating. I have a disabled friend who likes to come to visit me and his ability to rely on paratransit is so important. It's not just the accessibility , it's the dignity. On top of the disability, you are piling on mental an emotional damage by adding this humiliating charge to folks like my friend who are having their snap benefits cut at the same time. And he lives in the City of Chicago, where housing becomes even more fragile and less reliable by the day. I petition you to find other ways to get the money needed.

The RAP service is critical for my disabled brother, who lives in the suburbs and cannot drive. It allows him to travel quickly and efficiently to and from medical and other appointments and is very much preferred over the PACE paratransit service for that reason. We strongly object to cuts that would roll back this improvement in his quality of life.

Please don’t cap the rides at 30 per month. That’s not even enough for disabled people supposed to get to work and back. God forbid they have doctors appointments.

Please do not cap rides for disabled adults to 30/ month. This is devastating to those who work, go to doctors and pharmacies, and participate in Special Rec activities. These people cannot advocate for themselves. They have so little to look forward to in their daily lives. Don’t restrict them even further. Find other areas to cut.

We may not need 8 rides a day but at least 4 would be better. Back and forth to work then a social back and forth seems fair!!

PLEASE reinstate 8 rides per day. This gives so many disabled people a sense of independence and self-worth. Thank you

I’m writing to ask you not to take away transportation assistance for blind individuals. My friend depends on this service to travel safely and independently.
Cutting this support would create serious challenges for them and others — making it harder to get to work, appointments, and daily needs. This service is a lifeline, not a luxury.
Please reconsider and continue funding this essential program.
