We are writing as Zimbabwe Indrivers to raise a concern regarding the current fare rates being offered to passengers. While I truly value the opportunity to work with InDrive and provide safe, reliable transportation to riders, the rates being set are increasingly unsustainable for us drivers.
Currently, the fares being offered fall far below what is practical when considering the expenses we incur—fuel, vehicle maintenance, licensing, insurance, and time. In many cases, the income does not match the effort and costs required to provide quality service.
We strongly believe a fair adjustment is necessary, such as setting rates in the range of $0.50 to $1.00 per kilometer. This would allow drivers to cover operating expenses while still ensuring affordability for passengers.
Additionally, we would like to emphasize that drivers should be granted fairer privileges in private ride negotiations, as we are the ones investing in the safety and reliability of each trip.
We kindly request that you review the current rate structure and consider an upward adjustment to ensure sustainability for drivers and fairness across the platform. A balanced approach will encourage more drivers to remain active, provide better service, and strengthen InDrive’s reputation as a driver-friendly platform.

There is need to adjust the charges upwards to match the running costs .Fuel being the major cost driver it is very expensive and nolonger match with the low rates being offered .Can this be resolved with immediate effect so that we are kept in business.
The fares are unbearable low and it's unsustainable.The minimum rate should not be lower than $0.50cFares should change according to time.if its peak hour from (6am to 8am ) &(4pm-7pm)the rate should be $0.75c/km.then late hours after 11pm rates should be at least $1.00/km
May you please raise your fares and also include an option on number of passengers that can get into the ride, and lastly please include a charge for waiting time, some passengers take long to get into the rides and also your rates and vat are too high
I’m an Indrive driver with almost 2000 rides and I’m in full agreement with the petition, Zim Indrive rates need to be reviewed and meaningful thresholds should be set because some of the rates are now ridiculous.Thanks for your cooperation
Sure prices are not making sense,you have to consider that you guys you are taking 13% or more and we have fuel expense also , so some of the prices you are putting are not making sense, me as a driver you are killing me....

The current Indrive prizes are trully not sustainable, they compromise the safelty of riders as most drivers cannot servise cars due to low fares. An upward review of the minimum fare would go a long way in ensuring quality and affodable transport service.
