This appointment greatly concerns me based on personal communications and those observed on social media. Please reconsider this nomination for the benefit of women everywhere. Thank you.

I think Veronica is a little mentally unstable. She has a reputation in our community for being vindictive, inappropriate and under delusions. By that I mean thinking other people are stealing or copying her business, when in fact the businesses she slanders pre-date her own. I would be very careful about this. She is a divisive person in our community.

I have found Veronica's behavior toward other doulas and a past client to be completely reprehensible. She would not at all be a positive representative of DONA or the doula spirit in our region. Please reconsider.

I am appalled at the crude and cruel words Veronica has used to shame past clients and business partners on social media. As a former DONA Doula, I am beyond positive that this is not the behavior of a leader. Please reconsider your choice in her as the Midwest DONA representative.

I have worked with Veronica as a board member to a non profit organization she started. I ultimately resigned due to her lack of integrity and unprofessional behavior. I have serious concerns about her professionalism representing any organization in a public or leadership role. She is quick to react and lacks professional boundaries.

I have witnessed Veronica badmouthing previous clients on social media and calling their families inappropriate names. She is unfit to be a director of a doula organization. Heck, she is unfit to be a licensed doula.

The birthing community must uphold higher standards than the behavior Veronica has exhibited.

I believe that someone who holds this title should not violate the DONA codes. It is obvious via social media and interactions with her she doesn't hold herself to those standards. She does not hold respect for other doulas in her community especially when she feels that there is competition. She works for herself not the population she states she "serves"

This woman's twitter feed is a parade of ignorance, meanness, pettiness, and unprofessionalism.
