Final supporters
This petition is going towards convincing the school and college to get a pet for the College of Computer Science. A location for the pet to go has not been chosen yet.
The list of potential animals goes as follows:
- Fish
- Ducks
- Ants
- Isopods / Bugs
- Hermit Crabs
You can always suggest any other pets (be realistic). All of the animals currently chosen have taken into account: Cost, maintenance, noise, and attention requirements.
You can also suggest a name for the animal. The current front-runner is Harold II. This is because the bird that flew into the Computer Science area was collectively named Harold.
We want a pet for the college because we want the college to be a bit more lively. Having a class pet, or in this case, a college pet, could provide students with a sense of calm and motivate people to work better in class. It could also educate students about wildlife and different kinds of animals.
Though this may not work to get a pet for the college, signing the petition will show how Ignite scholars will come together as a community towards a common goal.
