Riding a bike is a fun, and growing sport. It is also a great way to stay healthy. Though like most sports it has it dangerous sides. Eg. Cars, Pot Holes. Though if a Cyclist was hit by a car the chances of Death are largely decreased if the Victim was wearing a Helmet.

113 Cyclist Died at the Roadside.

21,287 Cyclist where injured or Killed in total.

Though you Still don't have to wear a helmet without breaking the Law. Almost one quarter of the cyclists killed or injured are children
Around three quarters of cyclists killed have major head injuries.

I believe the Law need to change, to all people Adults and Children though if this is not possible, for definite Under 18's should have to wear a helmet by Law.
