I have been spending my evenings reading through your stories about how these budget cuts will directly impact our classrooms. It is clear that we refuse to let the quality of our children's education fade because of these short sighted decisions. I am currently compiling these experiences to present directly to the council members.

Seeing this momentum grow reminds me why I started this fight for my own children. The city council cannot ignore the families who are relying on them to do the right thing for our classrooms.

Teachers deal with enough as it is without having to worry about their jobs being on the chopping block every single year. Pay them what theyre worth.
this is getting ridiculous. our kids deserve better than this.
My daughter has 35 kids in her class right now. How is any teacher supposed to handle that? Unbelievable.
Keep the funding where it belongs. In the classroom.
DO NOT CUT THE BUDGET. If the schools go down the property values turn to garbage too. Think about the homeowners too.

VB schools were the whole reason we moved here. Stop cutting the budget and look at the bigger picture for once.
