It is essential that Virginia Beach City Council allocates sufficient funds in order to continue the current caliber of education that Virginia Beach prides itself on. City council is sacrificing jobs, quality of education, and the future of our children. Ultimately, the city of Virginia Beach will no longer be the sought after community it is today. This petition strongly encourages the Virginia Beach City Council to provide the funds necessary for the school board to overcome the budget shortfall and continue educating our students at the highest level. Please pass along this petition to your classmates, teachers, parents, friends, and neighbors.
