Complaints on European Parliament resolution on the situation in Ethiopia (2016/2520(RSP)) due to Its Misguiding Statement about Amhara

Please disregard part en of the resolution.

I strongly demand that the European Commision stop its double standard on the Amhara people in Ethiopia. I also demand that the Commision make the corrections immediately on "Section E" of its January 2016 resolution regarding the state of Ethiopia.

Amhara people should not be accused the crime done by TPLF!we are (Amhara's) also the victims.

Subject: Complaints about a Misguiding Statement on Amhara. In Ethiopia, for more than 20 years now, Amhara Tribe is the most oppressed and victimized ethnic group like other tribes such as Oromo and Somali people by dictatorial regime which is all from Tigre tribe ,,,, so please i would like to request EU to correct its Resolutions on its Statements “E. whereas Ethiopia is a highly diverse country in terms of religious beliefs and cultures; whereas some of the largest ethnic communities, particularly the Oromo and the Somali (Ogaden), have been marginalized in favor of the Amhara and the Tigray, with little participation in political representation.” should be corrected to as “E, whereas Ethiopia is a highly diverse country in terms of religious beliefs and cultures; whereas some of the largest ethnic communities; particularly the Oromo, the Somali (Ogaden), and the Amhara have been marginalized with little participation in political representation.” With Regards!

አማራና አህዝቡ በየትኛዉም ስረአት ተጨቋኝ ነበር እንዳሁኑ ግን ታይቶም ተሰምቶም አያዉቅ መፍትሄ ያስፈልጋል ።

Because the EU has blaming the victims, Amhara, for the crackdown of rights movement of the Oromo in Ethiopia.

Am fully behind this petition.

The international community needs to be aware that Amharas are at risk of elimination by the genocidal act of Tigray People Liberation Front who is ruling Ethiopia for the past 25 years.

I I am very sad that the EU regarded the people of Amhara, who are victims of genocide under TPLF rule, as part of the problems to Ogaden and Oromo. I demand the European parliament to retract its offensive statement, “E. whereas Ethiopia is a highly diverse country in terms of religious beliefs and cultures; whereas some of the largest ethnic communities, particularly the Oromo and the Somali (Ogaden), have been marginalised in favour of the Amhara and the Tigray, with little participation in political representation.”

I support most of Eu's but revolt misguded article aginst amhara

The Amhara of Ethiopia was never participated as a tribe in Ethiopian oppression history. Rather, the tribe has been one of the victims. The European union Parliament was misleaded.

The Amhara people were one of the target of ethnic cleansing and genocide of the dictatorial regime of Ethiopia. The EU has an obligation to report accurately by correcting the accusatory statement it made in the resolution.
