I agree with the statement mentioned. The Amhara are one of the most targeted ethnic group by TELF and are being marginalized ànd tactically eliminated.

I am am happy with the resolution that you proposed on the TPLF (Tigray People Liberation Front), which is administering Ethiopia under the guise of EPRDF. TPLF is a very dangerous political organisation which has divided the Ethiopuan public based on።ethnic line. It is following the divide and rule mechanism so as to stay in power. From its inception the TPLF labled the Amhara as its No.1 enemy and vowed to destroy the Amhara. As good as its words, TPLF killed more than 5 million Amharas since it came to power. Of the 5 million Amharas, TPLF confessed in its parliamentary discussion that 2.4 million Amharas have disappeared from the census. On top of this, so many Amharas have been displaced from southern, southwestern and Eastern Ethiopia for the simple reason that they are Amharas. Many Amhara women have been deliberately steralised. In a nutshell so many horrifying atrocities have been committed against the Amhara people by TPLF, OPDO, OLF and other satellite political organisations of TPLF. (We can produce evidences for all these and others). While the facts on the ground are as worse as this, even genocide is being committed, to the Amhara, it has been accused by the EU proposal as criminal as TPLF. This is really unacceptable and rubbing the wounds of the Amhara with salt. I am really dismayed by your action and humbly ask you to pencil out the name of the Amhara from your accusation list and rather consider the Amhara as victim of genocide. Mesfin Ayalew
