I think we have every legal right to want not only to lower the passing rate but even to invalidate the whole examination. You might think that it is too much, but having in mind all the mistakes (in every kind and form), the relevancy of the exam to the study material and all the stress and fuss these created, I think it's the least we could demand. My proposal is to demand an invalidation of the examination results or at least a lower grading scale. We could tell the Board of Examiners that we are planning to inform the needed institutions and legal authorities regarding such matters and soon the University will bend under our demands, because if this goes in public it will do them a lot of harm.

Personally I think the questions about the news articles were misplaced. The topics in al of the questions about the articles were never covered in the course, and it was not possible to get the definition out of the context. Moreover, translating the fragments was really hard too, it was language and definitions that most of us have never seen before. At this point it should have been very useful to use a dictionary, however we were not allowed to. Answering these questions was just lucky guessing. Doing them wrong can influence the grades too much since there were multiple questions. This should be taken into consideration.

I feel terrible. Studied so much for nothing. I can have 35 or 45, it was just about lucky guessing

This exam was too difficult in comparison to the course level. We could not prepare for this, because the exam did not ask for the calculations we learned and contained topics we did not have in the course or did not know that we were suppossed to read it!
