Grade boundaries should for sure be lowered beacause truthfully it was not only extremely challenging but also included terms which were not taught as part of the GCSE specification

It is highly unfair to expect a GCSE student to know an A-Level term.

(Discuss how far sociologists would agree that AQA has ruined lives of many students) Some sociologists would agree that AQA is a life ruiner due to the Unit 2 paper sat on Thursday 14th May. On the other hand, other sociologists would disagree because they are oblivious to the context which has not been taught to Yr.11 GCSE students. Firstly, AQA has ruined the lives of 200 and many more students due to inadequate realisation. This is when examiners produce papers which have not been taught to students across the country, yet fail to realise that the paper which was produced, is not of GCSE level. For example on Thursday 14 May students were given key terms that had no been taught in lessons. This resulted in many complaints, crying and campaigning. Moreover, sociologists such as Marxists would agree that AQA has ruined lives of many students because they believe that students who failed the exam will also fail in the future. The students that have not understood A level context will also go on to not understanding what the Bourgeoisie orders them to do. So this shows that AQA has ruined many people's lives as they will also fail in the future. On the other hand, sociologists such as Functionalists look at the positive side of things. They would argue that AQA mixed an A level paper with a GCSE paper. For example, the key term 'Anomie' accidentally slipped into the GCSE paper instead of the A level paper. So AQA didn't intend to ruin lives, it was a mere mistake. Furthermore, sociologists would disagree because of knowledge deprivation. This is when AQA forgot that key terms such as 'Content Analysis' was not of GCSE standard. And so, the paper did not intend to ruin lives of students, it was simply because AQA deprived knowledge. To conclude, the Thursday 14 May Unit 2 paper was utter bullshit. Just like this 12 mark essay. I'm so pissed off right now because I can't get the grades I want because of AQA. We are only GCSE students, this years pape

A levels are A levels and GCSEs are GCSEs. Let's not break the barrier.
