this can't be allowed !!!! And the stress of this could effect the children's performance on other exams and consequently the results and more importantly their future !!!!

As a sociology teacher I totally agree with the sentiments echoed by students and staff regarding the AQA Sociology paper this year

I found the exam ridiculously hard for a GCSE exam. I had chosen to take this at college but now I feel as though I have no chance to do this as I have no confidence in getting a b due to the extreme difficulty of this exam. Now I will have to take something else which was not my first choice as this exam has ruined my chances of doing what I want. The questions were definitely to hard for a GCSE and I think you should apologise for this lack of consideration and respect to all the hours us students spent on this exam and for putting us under this much stress while we have up to 20 exams in other subjects by giving all students who didn't acheive their target grade their expected grade. Thank you for ruining my chances of taking what I want at college.

I found the exam very difficult and not atall what I was expecting. I didn't understand many of the key words or the wording of the questions. I was thinking of taking sociology at college but after doing this exam it has completely put me off it and has made me change my mind as I enjoyed the lessons but the exam was outstandingly hard. I also found it hard because I have been spending weeks revising to then get into the exam and found out nothing i had revised was on this exam. I also feel like this has gave me less of a chance to get my grade to get into college this has now ruined my chances. No thanks to this exam board.

AQA were extremely unfair with this question as it was an A level keyword and this was a GCSE paper You need to re evaluate your life tbh

No one knew some of the keywords so that was ridiculous, questions were hard to understand, also was completely different to what everyone expected, didn't seem like GCSE level as it was so difficult

Some of the questions in the unit 2 sociology exam were disgustingly placed by a board trying to be too clever. My friends and I are appalled with the unfairness of the whole situation and if the grade boundaries are not lowered we will take drastic action. 'AQA are sh*te' -Dunningham 2015
