The exam was too hard for GCSE level and many of my friends doing the test, as well as me, will be lucky to come out with a B or C. Because of AQA's mistakes I may not be able to take the subjects I want at college.

I'm extremely upset about this situation. a range of terms that we have not studied or were on there on the GCSE specification, came up on this years AQA Unit 1 and 2 exam. I am afraid that i have failed my exam due this situation and i hope that something can be changed.

It is unfair to ask A level questions... we shouldn't be expected to know the answers.

I have done various past papers for GCSE sociology and have found them no where near as challenging as these papers I was given this year. Various things included in the paper I hadn't even been taught throughout the two years of my GCSE sociology course.

I contend that the exam was anomalous to previous papers and one would have struggled unless they had some extra knowledge outside of the specification

Fellow friends have worked really hard in the past two year in sociology, to be given an inaccurate paper with questions they can't answer is shocking. They deserve the grades they worked hard to get, a mess up with exam papers shouldn't get in the way of that.

Any exam that asks questions beyond what is in the exam specification and learning requirements stops being an exam at that point. I would say it is fair to conclude that the "exam" is now a exercise to spot all the psychics in any one place by way of posing questions they cannot possibly have prepared for beforehand.
This is wrong and it is unethical. It should be remedied right away.
