We, the undersigned residents of the building at 387 Bleeker Street, Brooklyn, NY 11237, submit this formal petition regarding ongoing safety and habitability issues arising from Apartment 4C.

These issues have significantly impacted the security and well-being of multiple residents and include:

1. Documented package theft

• Security camera footage confirms an individual entering the stairwell with a sealed package and leaving it open and discarded.
  
• The individual was observed exiting Apartment 4C.
  

Police Report Information:
A police report was filed on 11/22/25 (Report #2025-083-009168) with the NYPD. The report was taken by PO Brentley (Shield #1087) and is currently assigned to Detective Davidson (Shield #6189).

2. Unauthorized access to the building

• Multiple unknown individuals have been observed entering and exiting Apartment 4C.
  
• Residents have reported feeling unsafe when encountering these individuals in common areas.
  

3. Secondhand smoke infiltration

• Cigarette smoke from Apartment 4C regularly enters neighboring units through the ventilation system.
  
• Residents on multiple floors have reported health and habitability concerns.
  

These issues collectively represent:

• a violation of building safety
  
• a violation of the lease nuisance clauses
  
• a risk of legal and financial liability for building management
  
• a deterioration of living conditions for paying tenants
  

We request that management take immediate action to address this situation, including pursuing appropriate legal remedies to remove the source of these ongoing violations.
