Local businesses are precious and should be treated with respect. The works on Holloway Road are a disaster for everyone living lcoally- the increase in traffic and no doubt pollution, and businesses who have lost money as a result, need to be compensated.

Its immeditatly obvious this would strongly affect business. TFL and the organisations responsible for the other works being conduct must make restitution to local businesses.

The road closure was not planned well enough. The streets are like a ghost town! It's not fair to the businesses.

In support of Nick, this type of bullying tactics by TfL are unnecessary and wholly inappropriate. What happened to supporting our local businesses?

Total Liberty Nick & all the Holloway traders effected deserve compensation. How ridiculous is the fact that these repairs are taking 3 bloody months.....TFL heads should roll...

Total lack of planning has reduced the area to a slow moving traffic jam, by the time the bridge work is finished there will be few businesses left in the area to benefit from improvements. TFL should compensate as businesses matching income to same period last year.

Three months! No compensation! The usual sandwich boards banned! That's really high handed, and should immediately be changed. These shopkeepers will all go out of business and the neighbourhood will be ruined.
