The fact that people who pre-ordered months later get access to reserve their username before people who orded day 1 makes me pissed off big time. Waiting 1-2 weeks is bad but losing your username is an unforgivable sin.

Bought within minutes of the pre-order being available since they promised launch delivery and early access to reserve my username, yet they sent my code after those who pre-ordered months later, so I didn't get the chance to reserve my username, and still haven't received anything 2 days after launch. Not interested anymore after this pile of lies, including their claims about 4k60 which has already been proven to be false. The only thing that worked so far is Google taking my money right on time...yay?

I just don't understand why they don't just deliver everything a week before so that when its launch day, it's all ready to go...?

I ordered in August the Founders Edition. I haven't received either the activation code by email or the package yet. I was promised by Google if I preorder FE I would play on launch day (19th November)

I like Stadia but I also like tending to fires and professional fiascos.
I didn't even buy the dang thing because i knew EXACTLY THIS would go down.

pre-ordered on the same day it was announced. For the last few days I've spoken with 2 different Google Support and both times I was told my pre-order would ship on the 19th.
I sent both of them the link from:
"John Justice, Vice President of Product, Stadia, announced on Oct 15, 2019.
Stadia Founder’s Edition will start arriving on gamers’ doorsteps on November 19, 2019. If you were one of the first gamers who pre-ordered and have received your Founder’s Editions, you’ll be able to buy and play your favorite games beginning at 9AM PST/5PM BST/6PM CET on November 19."
It didn't matter what I said.
I'm still waiting for my founders edition.
I'm going to decline the delivery so I can get a refund. I rather go with XCloud.

Pre-ordered in June. Finally got my code and shipping confirmation today. Supposedly, I can expect my FE next week. So three months of the premium service is already down by a week before I get my hardware? Oh, and the name I selected when setting up my FE code was already taken...
