Many health and fitness classes are held during the day at Muirhead Activity Centre, so how does reducing the opening hours fit with the Scottish Government's Strategic Objective for a Healthier Scotland?????

The activity centre is fantastic for classes and parties it would be tragic for the local community to lose it. Why not have gym equipment there I for one and many more would be happy top pay a monthly membership to use it

Surely we should be encouraging everyone to exercise and support their local amenities. rather than shutting then down.

About to take my son to football at the Activity centre and know that the hall has full all day today as every week!!

Shocking, how much money do they need to save. Struthers school kitchen is on the list of closures (undecided apparently).

Reduced hours might save a few measly quid, but it will cause a lot of harm to the local community. I thought sport was supposed to be encouraged, it's a ridiculous decision!
