I know that Mervin is a good man and that it would benefit him & his family to be home. Especially in times such as this when his family is mourning such a tragic loss.

My boys went to school with Slimm son he always was respectful and mannered in the house , he will be missed ....I’m signing the petition because he lost his son , apart of him is already gone let him be with his family

I been knowing slim for a years thur my childreni met him right before my Son was Murder so my heart really go out to this family may God keep yall covered.this is so hard for any parent,grandparent family period and he is such a good father

I’ve known this man for 12 years. One thing I can say for sure is he’s always and I mean ALWAYS been a good father to his kids. Everyone makes mistakes but within his mistakes his kids were always number one. We all live and learn. I’m sure this is a life changing event that will affect Slim and his family for the rest of their lives. Keeping this man incarcerated will do no more good than it already has. His life is changed forever and jail isn’t what did that. Let this man get home to his family. Under strict guidelines of however it needs to be done. Nobody should ever bury their child but to not bury their child bc they are incarcerated bc of drugs that is a nonviolent crime would be a horrible circumstance. I hope to see this man come home!
