This letter is to show the community support for Mohammed Aadil Maksood Miya Shaikh for his Canada Immigration application. We have been informed that there is a possibility of Mohammed not being allowed to stay in Canada due to expiry of study permit & out of status. We want to show Immigration Canada that removing him from Canada and separating him from the life he has built here would be very difficult for him, his family, his friends, and our community.
We want to persuade Immigration Canada to consider granting Mohammed permanent residence based on humanitarian and compassionate grounds.
Mohammed was born and brought up in India. He arrived in Canada in 2018 as an international student. For few it may seem like a short span of time but for Mohammed, after spending nearly seven years here, Canada has become his true and only home. It would be immensely hard for him to be forced to leave his aspirations and unfulfilled potential here and go back to India.
Mohammed has spent most of his adult life in Canada. It goes without saying that, after dedicating nearly seven years towards establishing himself here, Canada has become his true home. His recent establishments, accomplishments have been here. If he were forced to leave Canada, it would cause him painstaking efforts to establish himself in India. Furthermore, the education and work experience that Mohammed has obtained in the past several years may go unutilized in India and he would have to start his professional life from scratch.
Mohammed is a young and bright individual who in his time has become established in the community and who has already demonstrated the potential to becoming great asset to the Canadian community. His establishments extend their reach through his family, friends and community in Canada. He has been a model resident and has become an irreplaceable member of our community. Mohammed aspires to be a permanent and contributing part of our Canadian society.
We, as a community, are well-aware of the adverse circumstances that his home country faces and one that he, surely, would be subject to if forced to leave Canada. As a community, and as his supporters for a better life, we request permanent residency for Mohammed.
In his time here, Mohammed has fallen in love with our country and has become accustomed to our way of life here. If forced to return to India, it will be excruciatingly difficult for him to find a job without a connection or knowing someone who can get him gainful employment in the area of his passion and expertise. The prospects and potential of this young and bright individual would be
limited, if not completely taken out of the picture, if he were forced to go to India. Our country needs people who are skilled and not just cherish being a part of our community but also believe in giving back to the community. Please allow him to stay back to nurture and establish himself in Canada, more than he already has.
Mohammed is a prime example of what Canada stands for, a rich cultural diversity. He makes friends wherever he goes and knows the importance of community involvement. His absence would be felt greatly throughout the community, and we would be worse off, as a societal group, if he were forced to leave. We are asking that he please be allowed to stay where he belongs, to be able to continue working towards building his future in Canada, a place that he already calls home. We, as a community, support the aspirations for this individual and request for permanent residency status for him.
As a community we support Mohammed’s application for permanent residency based on humanitarian and compassionate grounds. Please allow him to stay in Canada, a place that he already treats as home. Every person undersigned here joins in this request.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
