COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR MOHAMMAD MAZIN ABDEL RAZZAQ ZAIDAN - HUMANITARIAN AND COMPASSIONATE CONSIDERATIONS
We, the undersigned members of the community, write in united support of Mr.
Mohammad Mazin Abdel Razzaq Zaidan and respectfully ask that his application for
permanent residence on humanitarian and compassionate grounds be approved.
This petition is not written lightly. It reflects our shared and sincere belief that
Mohammad is a person of integrity, discipline, and genuine character who has worked
diligently to establish a stable and meaningful life in Canada. We have come to know
him as a young man who does not take opportunity for granted, who approaches his
responsibilities with seriousness, and who strives to contribute positively to the society
in which he lives.
Mohammad first came to Canada with the intention of pursuing higher education and
advancing his professional future. He completed specialized studies at Algonquin
College in Energy Management. His academic journey was not simply about obtaining
a certificate. It represented long term planning, sacrifice, and a clear desire to build a
skilled and lawful career in a country that rewards effort and merit. He made the
conscious decision to invest in Canadian education because he believed in the stability,
fairness, and opportunity that Canada offers.
After completing his studies, Mohammad relocated to Edmonton, Alberta, where he has
since maintained consistent and responsible employment in a supervisory role within
the retail pharmacy sector. Those who interact with him professionally see firsthand
the level of maturity and accountability he brings to his work. A supervisory position
requires trust. It requires reliability, composure, and the ability to manage both
operations and people. Mohammad has demonstrated all of these qualities consistently.
Yet his establishment in Canada extends beyond employment. Canada has become the
place where he has formed friendships, built daily routines, secured stable housing, and
created a sense of belonging. His residence in Edmonton reflects continuity and
stability. He has integrated into the social fabric of the community through
participation in organized sports and community activities, including football leagues in
Alberta. These activities have provided him with structure, mental and physical well
being, and meaningful relationships that extend beyond casual interaction.
In observing Mohammad, we see a young man who is actively building his adult life. At
twenty five years of age, he is at a critical stage in which professional growth, stability,
and community belonging shape long term outcomes. He has not isolated himself. He
participates. He shows up. He supports others. He respects elders and mentors. He
treats peers with fairness and dignity. He conducts himself with humility.
We are also mindful of the deeply personal and structural challenges that he faces due
to his Palestinian heritage and the uncertainty associated with long term reintegration
in Jordan. His background places him in a uniquely vulnerable position. While Jordan
has been a country of residence, it does not provide him with the same secure
professional trajectory or social certainty that he has begun to establish in Canada.
Removal would not simply mean geographic relocation. It would mean stripping away
the foundation he has carefully built over years of effort.
Professionally, he would lose access to the Canadian labour market in which he has
trained and gained experience. His Canadian education and work experience are
directly tied to opportunities here. The disruption would likely result in
underemployment or prolonged instability despite his qualifications. Personally, he
would lose the social network that now forms the core of his support system. For a
young adult who has built his identity, friendships, and future planning in Canada, this
loss would be profound.
Humanitarian and compassionate considerations require attention to establishment,
good character, community ties, and the disproportionate hardship that removal would
cause. Mohammad meets each of these considerations meaningfully. He has
demonstrated sustained effort toward lawful integration. He has maintained
employment, housing, and community participation. He has invested in Canadian
education and professional development. He has shown respect for the values that
define this country.
Those of us who sign this petition do so because we have witnessed his growth and
contribution. We have seen his discipline in work, his camaraderie in community
activities, and his respectful presence in everyday interactions. He is not someone who
burdens others. He carries his responsibilities independently and with quiet
determination.
Granting Mohammad permanent residence would allow him to continue on the path he
has already begun. It would recognize that he has become part of the Canadian
community in substance, not merely in location. It would preserve the stability he has
built and enable him to continue contributing as a young professional, a teammate, a
colleague, and a community member.
Conversely, requiring him to leave Canada would dismantle years of constructive effort
at a formative stage of his life. It would create emotional, professional, and social
disruption that is neither proportionate nor necessary given the life he has established
here. The hardship would extend beyond inconvenience. It would represent the loss of
belonging, identity, and opportunity.
We therefore respectfully and earnestly request that Immigration, Refugees and
Citizenship Canada exercise its discretion compassionately and favorably. Mohammad
Mazin Abdel Razzaq Zaidan embodies resilience, discipline, and a genuine commitment
to building a lawful and productive life in Canada. He deserves the opportunity to
continue doing so.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Please do not hesitate to contact
us should you require any further information or clarification regarding our support for
the applicant. We urge you to consider this case with empathy and recognize the
profound impact of granting Mr. Zaidan the opportunity to remain in Canada.
